Single girl profiles - scams?

Hey, looking to pick your brains!
I have recently set up a couples profile on here and we’ve had a few single girls approach us super keen, giving us their number right away (despite the fact we have no verifications!) and not building rapport and texting us naughty pics asking for face pics etc - is this a scam or are there girls like that? One girl had loads of “cam” verifications.
I’m dubious as I have a single girl profile, And I’m so specific about who I chat to, and I need to feel comfortable and build up rapport with people. I guess everyone is different.
One girl; I sent a voice note too so she knew we were real and she just sent a generic response back - it just feels off - are my spidey senses too up on this? What do fake profiles have to gain? |

"If it sounds too good to be true it probably is "
The thing is that’s not too good to be true for me - I don’t really want some girl sending me naughty pics and face pics after one tiny “hey” message. No interest. |

I dont tend to chat to single women on here but if i do, unless they have verifications from meeting someone and been on the site a while, im very sceptical and do tend to think that its really just an old pervy man wanting photos and w*nk while we chat.
I'm the same with single guys tho- unless they've already been verified. If their photos seem abit, unrealistic (cock picture doesn't match the body type in another photo etc) I dont tend to carry on chatting.
Kik is a good way to chat away from fab without having to give your number out aswell. Xx

"In what sense would they be scamming you?
Catfish very probably. Guys trying to get pictures and chat from you.
First rule of fab (and life), if it feels wrong, run away, fast."
Yeah, I think scam was a strong word, maybe misleading us who they Actually are. Yeah I ran a mile, but my partner who is new to the site didn’t know why I was questioning her authenticity. Which I found hard to explain other than it just didn’t add up to me. |

It's a sort of sixth sense isn't it. I sometimes reject men because they have a "look" in their eyes. |

I think he genuinely was seeking to understand my thought process.
Some chats I’m totally on it happy to chat and then all of a sudden; what would seem a well verified single girl wants to chat and I’m like - nooo, she’s fake - I’m out! With no real justification. |

The more unbelievable the claim, the more evidence you should ask for it (if needing to know matters).
The classic example is, I have a pet dog. You'd probably believe that. (I don't, it's an example)
If I said I had a pet dragon, you might want to see some evidence. (Or you might not care because it has no impact on you) (don't have a pet dragon either)
In your experience, how likely is a super keen woman? What would someone gain by lying? What would you lose by believing them? How much work are you prepared to do to seek evidence? |

See that’s the bit - what they stand to gain from it ? Maybe some naughty pics of us??
And the biggest thing I lose is my time - which is prescious x x |

It’s not hard to verify.
Ask them to upload a face photo on message holding a random household object eg whisk.
Easy and should be done within a few minutes.

Yup
I mean to a degree: if you look at my profile (not at the moment I've hidden my summary). I've met in the region of 120 people/ profiles, verified (so I've met more). I'd be a bit puzzled if anyone thought I was fake. Go mental? No.
You look to the evidence too. How hard is it to fake a profile? Not very. How hard would it be to fake a very well verified profile that's existed for years? Much harder. So I'd hope for less suspicion in my own case. |

No chance in hell I'd do that.
I always verify I'm real in my own way as I know there's so many fake profiles. I do this both on single and couple profiles. |

Yep, exactly - I like to think someone wouldn’t question me and I’m nowhere near as well verified as you.
One of the girls only joined a few days ago with one veri from a man the same day. Sending us naughty pics within minutes of chatting. Suspicious!
The other was well verified, but I dunno the way she communicated was so weird. One word answery same copied and pasted message yet she had loads of verifications - none of them were published though and all were cam. It just didn’t add up! |

I don’t swap numbers or have Kik. This is easy way to prove they are real and photos are recent without needing to leave fab. I’m happy too do the same back because I don’t show my veris. |
