Bathroom is only small. Its all white and hideous right now.

Anything but white is my advice. I'd probably go for a grey. |

"Travertine marble thank me later
Oh actually that's what I have.

I tiled my bathroom last year. Big travertine tiles on the floor and bath panel. 300x300 tiles on the wall with a mosaic border |

Bathroom can be a big investment so stay away from anything trendy at moment as will look dated in few years
My bathroom small have large white tiles and 1 massive mirror on 1 wall
3 walls white and other bright orange black floor and accessories sounds horrendous lol but looks smart
In a few years to re tile 1 wall and replace flooring won’t cost more than £200 and bathroom have new look

So many images on line now to give you inspiration.
I've never tried one but you can get Visualiser Apps that let you take a photo of the room and change colours to see what it looks like in different colours (dulux was one)
Lighting makes a difference and you can always add accessories to add colour.
Good luck |

Always a white suite, white toilet, white shower tray in my opinion. Easier to clean and doesn’t date. Go for your colours in your tiles, taps, radiators, shower screen and accessories - all easy and cheapish to change when you get fed up. |

Travertine looks way more expensive than it is. Cuts really easily as it’s soft too. (Wet cut or use a diamond angle grinder).
Bear in mind it has air pockets in it so don’t be surprised if a hole appears in it. If it does, just fill with grout, so chose a grout a similar colour to the tiles rather than white.
SEAL THEM!!!! They’re very porous.
I’ve fitted around 800 bathrooms so feel free to ask any questions. |

Don't forget the storage!!
We fit bathrooms for a living
Speak to your plumber unless you are replacing like for like in the same place as a move around is not always as easy as people think.
There is some fabulous vinyl out there atm, means you can cheaply switch it up in a few years.
Go for decent quality taps.
Enjoy

Exactly what I did with my last new bathroom. Money was very tight so a standard cheap bath and toilet and classic style sink and big white tiles all over. One wall had a massive mirror that was set slightly forward and gorgeous funky taps.
I covered the floor with really good vinyl from an expensive range (small area so didn't cost much) and finished it off with a small, antique, three drawer pine cabinet with chunky glass handles.
It all looked expensive but really wasn't. |

To save cost only tile the wet areas. You can then paint the remainder. It also allows you to change the colour scheme anytime without costing a fortune.
If you tile it all you can only change the towels, mat and blind etc. |

I'd love to refit my bathroom - I only moved in December and then the apocalypse happened so I got it painted to brighten it up but everything else about it makes me want to cry
I don't have the money for a refit - Im looking at mirror sheets to make it look bigger.
Putting them up is going to be fun |
