There and to the left a bit |
My main playlist if over 1500 tracks has everything swing, ska, pop, punk, soundtracks, classical, mod, Motown, Northern Soul, reggae, the odd novelty hit...all eras covered too
The music that forged my tastes though was Mod/Two Tone and Punk/New Wave |

A lot of 60’s and 70’s, especially rock. Blues, soul, Motown, metal, classical. It really just depends what I’m in the mood for, and what catches my ear. |

Lots of ambient at the moment. Eno, Harold Budd, Rodelius, Ian Boddy, Robert Fripp, Bersarin Quartet. And very lately discovered Robert Rich who has recorded pieces 7 to 8 hours long in which absolutely nothing happens. I figure that 2020 is the year where my life is totally on stand still, so the music I listen to should be similarly uneventful. |

I'm liking Polly's taste, my playlist has a lot of ambient music. I always like Bowie's instrumental pieces. My lockdown obsessions have been Tindersticks and Einsturzende Neubauten.
The soundtrack to Devs, American Head by the Flaming Lips and AM Jazz by Jim Noir are getting lots of plays as well. |

Some classics such as Frank Sinatra, to classic rock all the way to metal music. Overall I'm pretty universal, but love slower relaxed Motown right now. |

Have you got the Philip Glass pieces based on Heroes and Low? |

Yeah they were my introduction to Glass and from there I got to Steve Reich. Bowie is a gateway drug... |

I love such a range of music.
This year I’ve been to a few heavy metal gigs (Slipknot, Shinedown) but then also went to see Einaudi, an Italian pianist.
I’ve seen Ed Sheran to Orbital.
My tastes vary all the time... |

I like all sorts myself. But back in the day started with heavier rock but prog and psych thrown in. Nothing like putting on a record and playing the whole side & then the other.
On the 80'site, even appreciated duranies - Coventry though motorhead , ac/dc etc. The bands I used to see |

"I rarely listen to music.
I get bored too quickly "
I couldn’t imagine my life without music. If had to choose between music or tv without hesitation music would win hands down. |
