Has anyone else seen Tenet? It’s the only film I’ve ever seen that I didn’t get- even 10%. It’s doing my head in. Can someone please explain the time stuff and backwards stuff and why she didn’t need a mask stuff to me?

Questions you’d like answered?

Effectively the algorithm is a ‘magic bean’ (like the infinity stones) so it allows traditional theories of time space to be manipulated a little for a narrative in a story. The creator of the algorithm knows this hence she does what she does.

It’s meant to boil your brain because without the ‘magic bean’ the whole of the story is theoretically impossible

I didn't think that shuri's lab had been completely destroyed as a large part was underground?

Like iron man they only destroyed the top half, the rest was untouched underground

No I don't think there is a book. It's a typical Christopher Nolan overly-complicated, too clever for its own good screenplay he turned into a film.

I personally thought it was awful. I'm all for films you have to watch more than once to get all the nuances, but I think you should at least be able to get the general idea first time. This was just a mess in my opinion. I would watch it again because I would understand it more second time around, but when I saw it I was left with a distinct lack of giving a shit about any of it.

The lead character is two-dimensional and didn't even have a name.

Luke

So I loved tenet.

But it isn't great to explain. Only if you go back in time, everything goes backwards around you, including time. So like you're in a vhs tape that's on rewind.

That's my simple explanation.
