I do hope his programme tonight helps people especially males to reach out for help with bulimia or any other mental health issues.

Thankfully the stigma of mental health in men in particular is starting to be lessened, unfortunately there is still a fair way to go

I'm watching it.

It's always refreshing to see more about men's mental health. One of my favourite chick lit authors bought this to my attention earlier today as her male lead in her upcoming book has an eating disorder too. Tom Fletcher (McFly) has spoken out about his own eating disorder a lot too.

When suffering with mental health most of your life, you become a master of disguise and being able to mask such issues. On the outside people say I'm confident, chatty, out going, happy go lucky but inside im bricking it when out or faced with a task at work etc but you manage to push yourself through it and suffer afterwards when it's used up all your energy fighting it. I've just had my medication dosage increased and it's wiped me out for a few days but I know it will help me in the long run. Trust me, theres people out there you would never think have issues with mental health, so just be careful what you say to people, how you react when they say they can't make a night out etc, there maybe something darker going on inside

Really feel for him, wouldn't have believed he suffered so much, hides it so well, poor guy.

Bloody media and pressure to look perfect has a lot to answer for!

As a wrestling fan, it really got me that sports men are 16% more likely to develop an eating disorder
