It doesn't, it takes up two channels for One week, then one channel for two weeks. And for a maximum if 180 minutes a day. Every 2 years.
There will have been football in tv on 19 days, it's not too much to handle is it?
I hate big brother, I don't complain about it, I just don't watch it, same with loose women, sex and the city, and Jeremy Kyle. And don't even get me started on celebrity magazines. They are in your face all year round, that's much worse than the football.
