that part of the anatomy to make it erect it cannot do that if there is no heartbeat. |

Actually an erection is a passive action. It’s only when blood vessels are relaxed is blood allowed into the penis. And it can pool to the lower part of the body in death depending on circumstances. Google angel lust. |

Can also happen from asphyxiation during death. A lot of people that were hanged had them apparently. |
