I had mine on a couple of times in August...it’s about the temperature where you are and how cold you are not what month it is. I’m all toasty warm here, heating has been on most of the day |

In the hotel I work at, the heating went on three days ago to warm the place up.
The property is 303 years old, built in part with Sandstone blocks, thus the outside temperature matches that inside the building. Add in that due to Grade 2 Status and local regulations, we cannot replace the Sash windows in many rooms, nor can we install Air-Con units at all in the premises.
Thus, we tend to have heating on sooner than modern homes; equally in hot weather, it's a battle to keep rooms cool. |

"Mines on and off often doesn't matter the time of year. If it's chilly it's on."
^^This^^ Since having a new boiler back in February we have British Gas Hive.
You just set the thermostat to different temperatures throughout the day and if it drops below the particular temperature it comes on. |

Only for visitors or if there's a chance of the pipes freezing. Other than that I just add an extra layer of clothing or get one of my mulitplie throws out |
