My mother always used to say that. There's always someone worse off than you. If I had pain, there's always someone else in worse pain, the pain won't last forever.......lots of little gems, which basically meant stop feeling sorry for yourself and get on with life

The supermarket cashier said someone gave her verbal abuse because they had more toilet roll than was allowed due to the panic buying. That made me annoyed to say the least.
