An issue that is constantly raised in every nudist conversation is , Nudism has nothing to do with sex, I understand this is the opion of what I call rightious nudists, but why do they think their interpretation / expression is on a higher level than others, like their opion allows them to define other peoples intention, Getting naked and sunbathing can be non-sexual if thats your thing but conversly if you are turned - on by getting naked and lying in the sun why do some try to claim this is not 'proper nudism' . |

It's not that they think you shouldn't enjoy that if you want to. They just don't like it being imposed on them when they don't do it for sexual gratification. That seems fair to me. Keep the two separated. |

There is a variety of tastes and how people like to express themselves. In Ibiza there was a beach that catered to various tastes at opposite ends of the beach e.g. At one end there were parents with their children who were all comfortable being naked together with other families with nothing sexual of any kind going on. While futher down the beach there were single men and women reading books and acting rather snobby and upper class, while further down the beach towards the middle there were young and elderly couples who were discreetly fondling each other and checking people out as they walked by, and at the far end of the beach there were swingers, a gay bar, and a discreet area behind a roped fence where people (mostly men) were cruising up and down and having sex in the sand dunes, although I noticed that most of those men had actually come from the family part of the beach, and had left their wives and kids so they could 'stretch their legs for a minute' while their true intention was to find someone to have a quickie with behind the sand dunes. Naughty husbands.

Like any 'lifestyle' there are a range of opinions on the 'correct' way of doing things.
And you'll always find people who hold that their version is the 'one, true way' whereas most times a single 'lifestyle' will capture under it's umbrella a spectrum of attitudes.
You could break each 'lifestyle' into seperate groups and some will overlap with other 'lifestyles'.
It's just people being people. |

Rules unfortunately you get these types in all walks of life.. i usually find the 'righteous types' have nothing else but that particular subject they're righteous about in their life.
I tend to avoid these types.
I visited Playa de Cantarrijan nudist beach last week it was quiet and friendly. Ive been before and found alot of busy body righteous types. |

Its just preferences, when I am visiting a nudist beach I'm not going for sexual reasons and appreciate being surrounded by like minded people, being used as a source of non consensual sexual entertainment is distinctly off putting and can end up in heated discussions about inappropriate behaviour, just because I am naked chatting to others does not mean that fondling themselves whilst watching me is acceptable |

My opinion. For what's it worth.
Each to their own.
Freedom of choice.
Righteous people live in all walks of life.
If sat nude in my garden it means no sex. Sat nude at a club where others are nude is a way of life choice OP. Going to naturist places is life choice of not wearing clothes. It's not a free for to go nude and get errect and think you can fxck every one in sight.
Naked and nude. Naked to me means sex... Nudism is a way of living without clothes. Its not sexual. Yes you can admire bodies.
You admire them because of your happiness to be free of clothes.
Here is an admiration of bodies to have mutual gratifications with.
Yes, we get naked to enjoy the pleasures of our bodies intertwined.
My opinion. |

Spot on. As a single male nudist it does my head in how the meerkats and other wankers spoil the experience of being nude for so many. Just chill out, enjoy the sun and warmth on your body and treat everyone with respect, courtesy and friendship. It’s not difficult. |

Wrongly or rightly, the general public often view being naked with sex. Nudist or naturist lifestyle isn't about sex. It's just about enjoying being naked. They get "high and mighty" about it because they don't want to assume it is sexual in any way. If you went to a naturist club, and tried to get sexual, you would be removed |
