I just saw the trailer for the new version of spitting image... Which reminded me how bloody brilliant the first version was. So who was your fave from the original show?
Mine was probably Neil kinnock or norman tebbitt. |

"Who was the one who spat everywhere? Think it was Roy Hattersley ..I loved spitting image .."
It's a bit of a sign of the Times as they had most of the tory and Labour cabinet ministers who everyone knew... Id struggle to name more than 3 cabinet ministers now.... Moynihans sports minster was funny.. The gangster pope... Jagger... Trev mcdonut... The queen mum... |

"Did anyone see the Genesis music video "Land of confusion"
It had the same splitting image puppets and I thought it was excellent!
Yes it did! Well remembered. I loved that video too! "
Phil bought his own puppet. |

"
Ronald Reagan starting a sentence and forgetting what he was talking about "
The President's brain is missing.
Did Spitting image know something?
"In November 1994, Reagan revealed in a handwritten letter to the American people that he had been recently diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease."

Roy Hattersley if I am not mistaken.
Ali G did a spoof with him once. Asking him all about Margaret Thatcher and serving in her cabinet....in a semi straight laced opening few questions..
He the dropped in ' So Roy in your time did you ever just want to bend her over the cabinet table and give her a good rogering!!!!'
Sure someone will find it on You Tube! (Lol). He took it in good spirits

I was a bit worried when I heard that it was coming back that it would tarnish it's own legacy by being boring and unfunny (like a lot of recent political satire shows), but the trailer has given me hope that much of it will hit the mark. Gotta admit I did like the Kanye West bit |
