Shredder overheating

Jump to: Newest in thread

Now then...

I have a pile of shredding to do.

It overheats after a couple of minutes' use.

I get about 5 minutes until it cools down enough that I can start again.

Have you got any ideas what to do whilst waiting?

Good point but it would take longer to tear into as many pieces

Shop for a new shredder on a website named after a rain forest in Brazil

Buy another shredder, while ones cooling down you can use the other and vice versa, failing that get a new hobby.

My sister told me once to put them all in a sink full of water for 2 minutes then drain said water.

Bunch up wet paper then it becomes an unreadable mulch.

You need to do what I did. I “borrowed” an industrial one from work a few years ago. They’ve forgotten I’ve got it lol.

We can't go into work and there's CCTV everywhere.

But apart from that it's a good idea

Get a goat they eat every thing. Thus you get a pet, shredder and very low cost food bills for said pet.
