Have been weighing up whether to get a tattoo on my forearm for a very long time now. Was hoping for some opinions off people on here.
Basically thinking of getting a solid black band around my left forearm with a much thinner solid line around it too, leaving a small gap between them. (google orlando bloom tattoo, the band wont be as wide as his though, and no I'm not copying him, I actually didn't know he had it until a couple of days ago)

I don't like it as a stand alone tattoo and I think it looks misplaced so far up his arm.
Maybe it would work better closer to the wrist in bracelet fashion ?
If you do opt for a band, get it lower down the arm then you can extend it later if you wish to.
I think it would work better as part of a sleeve and as such a band near the wrist could be used as a boundary line for what you add later.
and the chances are, once you have had it, you will want to add ............

Forearm shouldn't be too bad. Should still look OK when you get old and your skin starts to sag... |

Don't understand the need to alter your body with ink? Aren't you already unique?
I always think what will it look like when I'm old and grey and wrinkly? Well Won't be grey not enough hair! lol |

if it's that plain and simple a tatt why not get one of them permanent markers and get a mate to draw it on your arm where ya want it, that way you could see how it looks and save yaself a few bob into the bargain... lol

opinions are like arseholes, as are a lot of the commentaries on here.
if you want one, get one, fella, just be certain as its forever.
and addictive, so it would most likely end up as a sleeve lol.
i have plenty.
tattoos can be as unique as you want them, so to say not to have one as you are already unique is slightly retarded.
AND henai tattoos can go wrong and be permanent as much as real ones. |
