OK so I'm exempt from wearing a mask and wear my lanyard.
I have tried wearing one but its just impossible for me to stay calm and I can't cope.
Iv seen on here and other platforms that the attitude to anyone not wearing one has become really hostile.
I haven't left the house since Sunday because I'm worried people will have a go at me.
Tomorrow we want to go to the supermarket.
I dont know what to do and can't sleep because I'm so worried.

Does the lanyard explain why you can't wear a mask?
Some people might say something. I would imagine most people are very British about it, and tut to themselves. The accounts of hostility only get talked about, because it's something to talk about. The far greater number of incidents of people being outraged and not saying a dicky bird don't get mentioned. Mainly because most people aren't mind readers. |

"Guys I know this is fun thread but i wondered if I could ask a serious question for some advice.
You can talk about anything you want.
OK so I'm exempt from wearing a mask and wear my lanyard.
I have tried wearing one but its just impossible for me to stay calm and I can't cope.
Iv seen on here and other platforms that the attitude to anyone not wearing one has become really hostile.
I haven't left the house since Sunday because I'm worried people will have a go at me.
Tomorrow we want to go to the supermarket.
I dont know what to do and can't sleep because I'm so worried.
Sorry to bring the mood down. people over here wear bandana's plastic shields that fit on glasses
What like goggles? its more like you'd see in a auto shop, like a welders helmet but a clear shield like if you were grinding"
Oh i know what you mean, like a visor.
I asked my GP about that but said they were pointless without a mask.
I may look into it if it becomes too difficult not to wear one. Thank you. X |

I tried one of these visors, as claustrophobic, but couldn't wear that either. Ive been practicing with a child size mask in the house, as it just fits over my mouth, nose and chin. I then plug my headphones in, put it on and hit my own little world just as I walk into the shop. I take it off maybe 3 or 4 times going round to calm myself but I'm managing.
Ive seen loads without masks and never challenged BUT not been out since new local measures were imposed so don't know how the land lies now xx |
