The Mr Men & Little Misses
Jump to: Newest in thread
Did you know that Roger Hargreaves published the very first of what would become subsequently, very many of his classic Mr Men books in 1971?
It was Mr Tickle (who’s freakishly long arms scarred me as a child for some reason!)
Apparently he charmingly came up with the idea after his son asked him innocently what a tickle would look like.
Anyway, what was your favourite Mr Man or Little Miss book as a child?
(Yes....this post is a tad random) |

I loved Mr Strong. Years later i made a great Mr Strong halloween costume for my son by painting a crisp box red and a sick bowl green then making him wear red football socks on arms and legs. Poor soul has never forgiven me. |

That sounds a great costume; I loved Mr Strong - how many eggs did he eat each day? The man was built like the proverbial brick shithouse |
