Its challenging to keep to routines these days as most days blur into each other and depending on your situation you may be at home all day.
There are also some nutritionists who believe fasting can be beneficial for you. |

I had a zoom meeting until 1pm then I planned to have lunch but then ended up in another zoom meeting until 2pm then I got an email I've been waiting for, read through all the attachments on that, filled a form in, made a phone call and after all that I'd totally forgotten about eating until I started to wonder how long until my boyfriend came home so I could make dinner as I was hungry . |

Yep, most days once I've had brekkie, then it's housework, shopping, coffee, workout, coffee school run and then I'm like starving, but start picking and then come dinner time once cooked for the kids I'm again not hungry |

"Does anyone else do this? It's nearly 4pm and I haven't eaten anything
You're not alternate fasting are you? "
No but I have done it before and it made me more likely to forget to eat on the eating days as my appetite went out of the window |

Yes I do and so does my daughter. It was so bad with her that she had to set alarms to remember. Now she has her boyfriend |

I've let it slip lately. Need to sort it out before I'm back to eating one meal a day . |

Stress is what screws my appetite over, not been too bad lately though. |

My daughter was diagnosed when little with missing the ability to know when she was hungry. I think quite a few of us have this. When I remember that I haven’t eaten I often end up gorging on whatever is at hand |

I've just been this way since I was really unwell with pneumonia in my early 20s and hardly ate for over a month. I think my body got so used to a bowl of mushy food a day that even one proper meal feels like luxury . |

I know when I'm hungry, it just doesn't seem to happen unless I haven't eaten for over 20 hours . |

I properly pig out when I'm hungry. I'm like a self made plague of locusts in the kitchen |

I go from one extreme to the other. When eating I often have no off button, or knowing when I've had enough. For example recently I had a Chinese take away with a house special chow mein, salt & chili chicken, sesame seed prawn toast and spring rolls and I ate the lot in 20 minutes. I did feel it afterwards, though
But conversely I can also go for days without eating if I clear my head enough to listen to my body tell me it's actually hungry, rather than just going by the clock
Yeah, I'm a fuck up |

I wish I didn't eat so much! But I tend to over eat and constantly snack when I'm bored/anxious/stressed, I guess emotional eating! Normally I forget to eat when I am properly focused on something and working hard on something but that hasn't happened in a while |

My son is the opposite. He has Pader-Willi Syndrome.
One of the characteristics of this is that he constantly feels hungry, even at the end of a big meal.
It's been difficult at times over the years. To say the least.

Regularly but also I ll go a day or two not eating in order for my body to wind down and process etc. Admittedly its a lot to do with habit which has a lot to do with living homeless for 2 years. My weight dropped to 8 stone and my waist dropped to 28, and then needed a belt and a good friend to call a halt to it. So its kind of 50/50 accidental as Im focussed on work or because I genuinely dont want or need to. |
