For me every day involves the read of a few comic books, Marvel mainly but I do have a love of a few of the indies and some DC. But I do hope people who are not hugely into comic books find their local shop and make your way (socially distanced of course) down there to show some support! Comic books are a fantastic medium whatever you’re into!

Not as fabled but the 2013 Inifity run by Johnathan Hickman is one of my favourites. Wonderfully drawn but a compelling and fast paced story

I need to read The Boys. I’ve watched the show and I’m curious as to the comparisons. The Umbrella Academy was a great read too from recent comic book to series adaptations x

They're brilliant. Far more violent and gritty than the "commercialised" turtles that gained world fame. I loved the art style as well. Very original

Speaking of Ghost in the Shell has anyone watched the animated series on Netflix and if so is it worth a watch?

It's in my ever growing watchlist but I never get round to actually watching it!

I've got to finish off, "Pulp", the new OGN from Brubaker and Phillips. After that I've got the new, "Powers" OGN to get through, plus all six copies of the first run of, The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen" arrived last week... (And that doesn't even scratch the surface of my reading pile...!

I still have 6 issues of Money Shot to pick up that I ordered before lockdown ! after reading this thread I may grab a few copies of Dark Crystal or American gods with a brew....I am still a couple of Kevin Smith's Bionic Man missing that I must get round to finding

ps for that nerd in your life for birthday/anniversary/Christmas etc...an issue of their favourite comic characters

comic nearest to their birthday -removable in a frame...did this for my youngest and she was over the moon!!
