Who practices fire and forget messaging? I have been diligently holding onto my sent messages to see if they turn from yellow to white, but I just clicked on some of them to find the user has blocked me without reading the message (apparently). Now of course everyone is entitled to their own mode of operation, but I am wondering if the better approach may be just to send a missive and then just delete and move on.
Any thoughts appreciated. |

Women (especially but not exclusively) tend to just block rather than reply. It saves them time but also the agro they might get from disgruntled blokes who signed up thinking it's Insta-shag here and don't like being told no Just don't take it personally and keep looking ![](/icons/rainbow.png) |

rarely message new people nowadays, as like you, get blocked, ignored or just a very unenthused response I felt not worthy of responding to keep the convo going.
Just enjoy the forums, and chats with the few friends here and good things will come your way ![](/icons/thumb_up.png) |

I send, save for a little while, don't check if I have been blocked ( I don't need to be into negative confidence.) Then just delete.
I never expect an answer anyway so would be surprised if I got one ![](/icons/s/mrgreen.gif) |
