Anybody have any bad interview stories.
I had one today.... i phoned up company (nice london job in my profession) said that i couldn't attend their interview day then the next week i could so recalled and they asked me to come.
Message got mixed up and it seemed obvious they had given my interview slot away... i felt like shit also part of the interview didnt go as well as hoped.
I still have fingers crossed. |

I've two bad interview stories.
I went for an interview and it was an hour into the appointment when I learnt that the job had been filled the previous day, and they'd no job for me at all!
The second was an interview arranged by the local Job Centre. The female General Manager was conducting the interview but after only 5 minutes and looking at my CV, she announced "we were really looking for someone much younger; you're too old! Goodbye!" I returned to the Job Centre and advised them what had been said, and their personnel went ballistic.
They actually sent in someone undercover for an interview with the same GM; that person suffered the same "fate". Afterwards, the company appeared in court to answer charges of age discrimination. It still didn't get me a job, but satisfaction in some other way! |
