What have you personally achieved recently that has made you feel proud?

Gutted baba’s bedroom.

Since we can’t get to the skips, his bedroom has been a dumping ground. You could get to his drawers, nappy change unit and his bookshelf. His cot is in our bedroom.

But today I gutted it, stored everything in the cupboard and tidied up.

When my depression hits, I dont have the motivation to do anything. Hubby kept saying ‘right tomorrow I’m gonna sort that room’ but I’d get so anxious and beg him not to do it. But, I did it! Only took an hour

I jazzed up the front room by painting a geometric design on the fireplace wall using frog tape and painted it different shades of ochre..

oh and actually really concentrating on my daughters Maths.. she excels in other area's but Maths its like she is 'number blind'.. put in so much effort one on one during lockdown and she ran home last week because she got 17/20 on a maths test! I was buzzing for her

Well done on finding the motivation. I appreciate how hard it can be when you suffer with depression. I bet you feel so much better for sorting it out too

That's great. It's not something I would even dare have a go at. I just know I would be useless at it.

I left my partner after many years of unhappiness. It was the hardest thing i have ever done but also the best. My kids hated me but all is good now.

Totally.. we really embraced our extra time together and created a home learning corner, made wall displays and really thrived just us both.

Got a phone call from her teacher to say how incredibly hard my daughter now works in school and what a role model she is to the younger students. We are only week 2 of the new school year. I am delighted x

I'm working on a childhood ambition. I'm still in the very early stages of it but to be at a point where I'm even doing it... is huge

Well done for doing something you know was a challenge and succeeding.

When I was younger I saved really hard from working as many jobs as I could and then I went travelling which really opened my eyes to lots of things and helped to shape me in many ways.

I feel that was a big achievement

A small thing but now I'm no longer working from home I'm able to separate my work and family life, which makes the overall mood and sex drive amazing.

That is amazing. I feel very proud for you. Parenting is such a hard job, and it's moments like that that really count. You sound an awesome Mum

North Bucks

Came to this country with fuck all. Did two years of English education while wondering what was wrong with me while my maths teacher called me stupid.

Managed to get to Uni and complete my degree.

Diagnosed with Dyscalculia and Dyspraxia and other disorders very recently.

Super proud I got where I am and with the coping mechanisms I developed while always thinking I was odd.

I smiled, truly smiled for the first time in long time. I caught up with friends on the phone and had really happy conversations. I realised that some things can be really good.

Sorry. Bit tender about it so not talking about it openly in public just yet.
