Well both the new consoles agave come out for preorder.
Which do you prefer?
Or do you prefer something else, pc, switch?
Maybe some of the older consoles still tickle that sweet spot.
Are there any games you miss playing?
New games you cannot wait to come out, I.e. cyberpunk or the new black ops
I will always have a soft spot for time crisis personally and ofcourse spyro and crash bandicoot.
So gamers, unite. Make friends. Stay a while and chat.
I've set up a buffet table in the corner and there's cold soft drinks in the fridge.

Up until a few years ago I had consoles, then I moved over to PC almost exclusively because every console game I wanted to play eventually released there anyway, I can save crazy money or get free games on Steam and Epic, I just prefer the PC gaming experience. I will say one thing for consoles though: they just work, there's been so many times on PC that I've hand to tinker to get something to run |

"I've gone full retro through emulation. NES, Megadrive, SNES, Neo-Geo, MAME.

What emulator do you use ?"
MAME for most everything arcade until late 90's as well as for neo-geo. Gens for megadrive. Znes for SNES. Nesticle for NES. |

I've given up on consoles now and won't be wasting money on the new ones, had a ps4 which hardly got touched. PC is where it's at and may look to get a new one next year what with new gpu's available, in my opinion they are far better for gaming unless you go in for group/party games.
The one game i do miss from my console days though is ssx tricky, man that game was a blast and swallowed up whole weeks with my mates.
As for new stuff coming out i can honestly say I'm not all that excited by much, maybe just getting old and seen it all before. Cyberpunk is certainly on the radar but can wait till i upgrade, it's got to look it's best when i play it. |

All things Wii in our house now, our daughter is a mario kart fan and bloody good at it for a 7 year old. Plus the retro consoles are picking up some value now so a nice investment to boot |

I impulsively bought a PS2 the week before lockdown. I play The Sims (Bustin Out is still amazing) & SSX Tricky mainly.
Offline lover loves games. He has loads of consoles which he's hacked and added loads of games to and he enjoys building smaller and smaller emulator consoles. |

SSX Tricky now that’s a blast from the past. Used to play as Moby? I think. |

As you already know op, I also have a shiny new series X on order. The Medium and as dusk falls look pretty cool, as does state of decay 3. I would love to see another bioshock or mass effect game Though. |
