I go quite often, and when the weather's good it's often packed with both sexes. Also, these days there aren't so many creeps walking up and down the beach looking to get off on naked people. It's probably easier to get chatting to people in the water rather than on the beach. Some sex, mostly but not exclusively gay, goes on in the hidden sections of the bushes behind the beach. Alas Bristol Gardens Health Spa, a very pleasant swingers venue 10 minutes away, is closed at present owing to Covid. However, if you want to just sunbathe and not flirt or pull, go to the quieter (unofficial) nude beach on the other side of town by Shoreham Power Station. |
