Just been to collect my Lawn Mower as it was in for repairs, and was just thinking how many ppl would do this or just discard it and go on and spent another £200 on a new one, we seem to live in a society that rather than get things repaired we just chuck them out, I deal with a lot of builders who bring us stuff what they or their customer no longer think is worth fixing, from tools to old vans and we repair them and they go st on e.bay and we have made some canny money, and no i.m not a scrap man

I have been unfortunate to have been married/currently married to TWO hoarders. Siren keeps packaging in the loft and as each one goes up I say, "there's another box of air we've got to store until you up there yourself in three years time and throw it away." It drives me mental, and my ex/w was even worse, as I'm the exact opposite. I will take a look in my wardrobe at the end of Summer and the end of Winter and if there's something in there that hasn't been worn that year it goes in the bin/charity bag.

Boxes? Fook off out of it. Recycle. Immediately.

.

I came across a tool once and asked my dad what it was for, "I have no idea" he replied.

"Ok, I'll throw it"

"No, Don't. It might come in handy.

Now my logic is, if you don't know what it does how do you know what it will come in handy for

Because you'll never know you need it until you need it. Bit like insurance.

When I worked in a cinema people would spend £4 or more on a tub of popcorn and just leave it.

Same goes for large drinks.
