Very very rarely eat them, gave them up a few years ago... mostly just Carby stodgy!

Jacket potatoes in the micro to soften up then a 40 odd minute bake after a smother in EVOO and a sprinkle of sea salt A wedge of anchor butter to melt in the groove

I take potato anyway it comes, my favourites though are mash with spring onion or a bit of mustard mixed in; or small potato’s baked in the oven with a little bit of garlic olive oil; or a slow cooked jacket potato

Duchess potatoes are a fave. I haven't had them in ages because they're such a faff to make.

Potatoes go with many things, fish pie mix, white wine sauce on top, topped with mashed potato a sprinkleing of cheddar cheese on top would not go a miss either I had mine with some fresh chopped runner beans out the garden thrown in.
