"Is the new season out?"

It's season one. I'm only 3 episodes in but have no idea what's going on. Help?

Yeah that show is kind of like that, it doesn't get any less confusing either

It's definitely a slow burn, a bit like that western show with robots!

I've started season 1 a few times lol I like it but just get a bit lost. Like where did the woman who gets bigger and bigger as she fucks. She keeps popping in and out.

You need to read the book and then it’ll make sense

Ahh okay, that'll probably be easier.

season was didn't explain much.

Season 2 expands the characters really well and is captivating

The opening titles graphics and music are amazing.

There's also a graphic novel version, utterly brilliant, beautiful artwork. Book, graphic, screen - shadows on the cave wall cast by flickering illumination of a larger work.

Think I've tried several times to watch this. Don't think I've ever got to the end of episode three, so good luck!

I much preferred the book. If I hadn't read it first, I doubt I'd have stayed with the series.

.

Definitely read the book first. I quite enjoyed the series in all honesty but then again I did daft things like work out the deity before it was revealed (when not obvious after reading the book). It does take some getting in to it but it's worth it if you like mythos/fantasy.

It's basically the conflict between the old gods (Odin, Bilquis, Anansi,Thoth etc) and the new gods that man has created (Media, Technology and Globalisation).

Deep in the New Forest

Started to watch it then it all got a bit to weird so stopped watching it. Months later I gave it another go and watched it all and still couldn't fully get into it.

The book is one of my absolute all time favourites.

This is an adaptation of the book by the author who then added more to each story throughout, if you've read the book and understand the whole story before watching it it is brilliant. I can understand where it can be confusing if not though.
