Bit of both, done the formal way more often but had a date with a girl recently where we went to this ninja tag place, great fun and there was no awkward moments as we had already got seriously competitive with each other a week before we went! |

Default mode is dress to impress, high end restaurant, splash out and make a night to remember.
But totally depends on whatever they're comfortable with, casual dates always follow and they're special too  |

Depends on how the online chatting has gone. If you have chatted a while, you have usually gained some common interests. Sometimes it is a pub meal, sometimes a McDonald's purely for convenience and location. I have met at a stately home, country fayre.... |
