Today ive allocated time to go through my daughters baby stuff and save the special items of clothing for future years to look back on..

Did you have a favourite item of clothing? Or one that was memorable for the wrong reasons?

mine was a denim dress that ended just above the knee. it had a purple flower stiched onto the left front pocket and loved wearing some gold sandles with it... oh to be 7yrs old again

My mum bought my sis and I matching shoes they were red with a yellow design and we loved only cos they made a noise when we walked we felt very grown up we were only 8yrs and 5yrs old and looking back they were hideous but we loved the noise they made and still talk and laugh about them

I used to have what my dad called my 'Shitehawk Jumper'

I can still see it now. It was knitted. Cream with brown sleeves with an eagle (the shitehawk) across the front.

Sounds awful, probably was, but I loved it !

My favourite dress when I was little was a yellow flared skirt one with a huge yellow ribbon tied in a bow at the back and it was covered in large white roses. I constantly look to see if I can find a 50s inspired dress which is similar so I can wear now, but to no avail.

I also had a pair of scholls and I loved them. I wore them til they virtually dropped off me. I bought some more about 3 years ago and it wasn't the same
