We have 2 hard drives taken out of 2 old computer s which has personal material on them how can we transfer the material onto our new Chromebook what leads can we do this with. We couldn't start the old computers up that's why we removed the 2 hard drives hope this help Steve sue |

Are the drives from a desktop PC or a laptop? |

You can get external drive bays or connectors with either IDE long thin connector, or small black one SATA that will connect via a USB port and appear as a new drive. It'll take a long time but worth it. Tasmin. You might also need a power supply. |

As I understand it, it might be difficult on a chromebook. You'll either need a drive caddy put these hard drives in then attach it to the chromebook and then transfer the file or put the hdd's back in the original device then upload the files to one of the cloud storage places. |
