I would suggest rubbing some Asda olive oil on it (it's the best don't let anyone tell you otherwise) and then gently press your knee against a warm radiator. X |

I've been told by my physio that most knee pain is associated with tight muscles. Quads, hams, calf's etc.
Apparently only a small number are actually to do with the actual knee.
Suggest stretching all your leg muscles at least once a day - massage , it foam roll
