Would dogs look as cute if they had no fur?

Someone at work raised this debate earlier, and it got me thinking.

If all dogs had no fur, and were as bald as a siamese cat. Would we still find them cute??? Is the main reason we think dogs, (and other pets) are cute because of their fur?

or Chinese Crested.

They're both hairless breeds and are beauts

And put all the dog groomers out of business?

Although it would have its advantages, easier to bath, no brushing, better for allergies, not getting things stuck to their fur.

It has to be part of the ingrained cuteness factor for dogs though, right? The fur.... that's what makes them cuddly
