What have you done today to make you feel proud

Sang the splenid recording artist Heather Smalls .

Good evening Dear friends Fabbers and Forumites.

They say pride comes before a fall. I think though its good be rightly happy about somthing you have achieved .

Today I rode up a killer local hill. Its long steep and woukd not look out of place on certain legs of the tour de France. Its tough on a mountain bike with gears set for hills , but on a road bike its a real challenge . Today I beat the hill I've been dreading. So this evening i shall have a beer in the garden to celebrate.

Its a beautiful evening herr in Welsh Wales. The sky turning crimson , the sweet secent of honeysuckle on the breeze .

So chums its your turn what have you done todayto make you feel proud?

It can be the smallest or largest of things . We never know what some one is going through, especially in these times . Lets celibrate the day

Taff

Have spent most days this week helping a friend through a particularly rough anxiety spell. She’s so much better today so I feel good for being able to be there for her

Lots actually lately. Today I was honest with someone when I needed to be about how I felt. Also I realised in work that I've reached 120% of this year's targets with three and a bit months left to go, so my bonus shouldn't be half bad this year....

Well done everyone!

I don't really have a choice, Taff, but I couldn't possibly begrudge my Dad's needs with his dementia.

Cardiff

I sat and recorded a video for an upcoming mental health conference which I would normally have spoken at in person.

In was hard, but hopefully so worth it

Good Samaritan.

Lady boarded bus with daughter. Lady sitting down with 4 dog's, trampy look, filthy dirty, with a trolley that was filthy with plastic bags wrapped round. Someone once loved this trampy homeless looking except her dogs moved out to the aisle. As other lady went to find a seat with child the dog barked at the child and lady picked child up. As moving past dog the dog bit lady on the leg. Someone else on bus bathed her bite in antiseptic gel. I tried to call police I did check with lady first to report incident no joy getting through but did then got cut off. I then asked if she wanted to report at the station in town. So I stayed with her for an hour just to help her as she was in shock and her leg hurt.
