Loot was a free adds paper where you could advertise your sofa for sale etc - a printed version of eBay. It had a personal section bit like a printed dating app, women seeking men, women seeking women, men seeking women, men seeking men and the good old 'other' category

Well I’m only 39 but good old fashioned conversation and cheesy dance moves worked for me all the way through Uni

Dirty Davids site was the start of UK web/forum based swinging iirc.

Once it got going it was also the high point of the UK swinging scene in the early - mid 2000's.

Then it was bought out by one of the big web co's and went shit.

Yes, remember Dirty Davids. We were members of "Scottish Swingers". Spent hours in the chat rooms which were a real novelty at the time. Before that contact magazines and snail mail. Sending printed photographs in an envelope believe it or not. Getting a computer and getting access to the internet was like a miracle at the time.

Rendezvous contact magazine. Send some photos in the post, maybe get a reply 2 weeks later. Even in those days there were fake adverts

We used Rendezvous, you had to wait weeks to see if you would get a reply with your pics sent back. ??

Didn’t Exchange and Mart have a ‘meet’ section. In those days people really did make an effort to connect

I used to use Rendezvous. You'd wait 2 weeks or more for a reply and it'd usually be your own letter returned with NO scribbled on it
