"I maaay enjoy fictional engineering diagrams and break downs, seeing the "science" behind how things work "
I think that “dork” is the preferred title for that.

Little bit of a geek, been to a few conventions over the years, the best ones were the Stargate ones called CHEVRON that were held in the Radison at Heathrow, they were smaller and were set out nice, all pics and autos in the morning and panels and interviews in the afternoon, wood be good to meet people into both Sci-Fi and the scene |

Don’t really get marvel
Not sure about that being true sci-fi more a comic book...
“That’s the trouble with Tribbles”
See how many true sci-fi geeks here ?
Question
“The pirates of deadman’s island” is an Episode of what sci-fi tv series?
No cheating by using google |

A comic book can be science fiction, so can an unillustrated book, or a radio show,or something only ever conceived as a film.
It's the genre not the delivery method. |

"I'm wondering how many sci-fi fans are in here. The type who know how many megajoules per second Ironman's suit puts out. "
That would depend on what iron man suit you were talking about as they all have very different specifications
The lowered being the mark 1 after that it would be the mark 5 (suitcase armour) when it come to suits like the phoenix buster suit (yes its a thing) thats beyond measuring |

I'm in the middle of a sleeve dedicated to the original film....I'm in no way a sci-fi geek though! |

"I have always thought that women get turned off if you liked sci-fi/geekyness, I'm geek and proud!!"
Not at all. Some women are also sci-fi/geeks too and others actually find it kinda cute when guys get all passionate about things they like whatever it maybe. Embrace your inner geek and be proud ![](/icons/s/mrgreen.gif) |
