I was never one for zoos, thought the animal deserved his natural habitat etc etc...
But.
I went along to Twycroos today and must say i was extremely impressed.
It was a trip out i had organised for about 8 disabled clients and we had a fantastic time and learned a lot in the process.,
And i wanted to bring home the babay effalump that looked like a punk rocker but they wouldnt let me.
We did have a problem when positioning a w/chair near a gorilla,s place.
The lady in the chair was 101 yrs old and was suddenly confronted with him showing his willy to her and then deciding to eat his own poo.
And yes, it was soooooooooo funny.
Twycross has to be one of THE nicest zoos in the country ya know.
Well the only one i will re visit. |

I used to be against zoos, of the opinion that animals shouldn't be caged, in their own habitat etc.. but there are good ones and they are necessary for breeding programmes and conservation.
Baby effalumps are sooooo cute, well I think all baby animals are really arn't they |
