What kind of forumite are you?

I’m a lazy, mainly lurking/ perving one. I click on the forum and see the first topic in the lounge or swingers chat, if it’s of interest I look and read and even might comment but I never scroll down the page to find a topic that’s of interest.

I watch a fair bit of Parliament TV and it drives me nuts when the place is packed out for discussions over MP wages or whether to decorate the Palace of Westminster, but then there's empty benches for anything outside their bubble. Feel a bit the same on the forum sometimes...sooooo many threads about introspection or NEEDING feedback. Not a dig at this thread at all, I promise, but wouldn't it be nice to just all enjoy chatting without all the psychoanalysis, pigeon holes or passive aggression? |

I know what you mean, I guess. Hence I don’t comment that often on threads. Just swipe left or right and do tell the poster above what I’d like to do with them or which pictures I like of their profile. |

I used to involve myself a lot, but as I got used to it, I backed off.
I look in from time to time but don't necessarily contribute. But having been on this site for over 10 years, there aren't
so many of the Forum 'characters' nowadays that we used to have, who really made it entertaining!

I like it, there is normally a mixed variety of topics and fun threads with some serious debates, we just seem to have an over influx of meh moods atm (hardly surprising though due to the current situation) and thats spilling over into the type of threads.
I guess I'm more of a serious poster (love the virus threads) with occasional playful posts with people I know

I just scazz in and out and if l see a topic that interests me I'll give my tuppence worth on it or reply to a comment but all in a light hearted way , l don't go on forums to look for conflict or confrontation of any kind ,this joint should be all about having fun and a good craic and the forums are a good place to have that . |

I drop in and out, sometimes post something serious and relative, but usually just irrelevant twaddle.
Have noticed over time that posters seem to be more judgemental and overly offended by others comments than it used to be. |
