"Im coming round and taking all of your luxuries bar one....
What will you choose to keep?"
My tamagotchi. No way you're taking it. I've kept it alive since 1998 after two two years of practicing. |

"But is a phone really a luxury? I'd count it as more as a necessity. So I'm using that loophole to say that the luxury I'm keeping is my Kindle.
Good choice "

True. And I'm going to sound like a Kindle snob but it doesn't compare
Got my Paperwhite on December after using the app on my phone for 5+ years and the app doesn't compare a bit! |

It's interesting reading what you all consider to be luxury items.
Phones, Kindles, pets, fizzy water, ice cream. They may all be luxury items for those in 3rd world countries, but for us? They are all widely available & reasonably cheap to buy and replace.
For me a luxury item is something that somebody wants but few can have.
The only luxury item I've seen so far was the Patek watch because of it's purchase price... WOW that's a lot of Casio's! |

Luxury has no price tag for its relevance to someone's life though
