Just been stabbed by my own bra, ladies dont you find this really annoying!!
Got to bin it now, and buy another
Ladies, how often do you go bra shopping, how long do yours last?
Do you have to have matching, like I do, so once the bra is no more, you get new knickers too? |

I was once bra shopping with a friend and I learned so much about the way they are made and the underwiring hazards.
We men think learning the one handed clasp unfasten is the greatest thing to know but no. The precise seaming of the wire compartment is an imperative piece of knowledge to avoid inadvertently stabbing your partner.
My sympathy

Ouch! It really hurts! Why do we even still have wires! Why can we go into space and do intricate minute operations and identify lifeforms near Saturn, but we havnt yet got a comfortable durable and sexy replacement for wired bras! Scientists of fab, over to you! |

So some of my bras are the really functional boulder holders (like basic Ann Summers range) and I don't really wear knickers most of the time so I don't have to worry about them matching or not. If I'm making an effort to impress then I'll wear full matching get up and if the bra wire goes, in the past I've just gone and bought the same bra again.
My bras last a few months to eighteen or so? It depends on how much wear I get out of it. Right now I'm detoxing my bra drawer because I've gone from a 48F at my biggest to a fair few bands size smaller and it pains me that I spent a fair bit on them and have to get rid of them.
Normally I buy new lingerie every time I see something I like. So Playful Promises have some lovely new sets out and I ordered those (but too big yay!). Probably a new set once every six weeks or so? If I'm going to see a rather handsome Essex boy, I know he likes me in particular lingerie so I always make sure I get new because I get as much of a thrill out of it as he does (when he isn't too distracted )
Tl; dr Bras last few months to just over year, don't wear knickers often, buy a lot of lingerie. |

I'm trying to avoid shopping centres and only going with a list for things I dislike shopping online for.. that's a pain. I need to usually try before buying. Has to feel good not just look good. And I love Boux Avenue changing rooms |

Just as an aside . In a previous job i worked as a test engineer for a washing machine manufacturer. We used to get sent bra underwires from Platex to see how they may gum up the machines |

"I went shopping for new bras last weekend to replace a couple of old ones that had the wire malfunction issue. (The matching knickers were on sale but the bras unfortunately were not)... "
Were you allowed to try them on? xx |

The dressing rooms are closed, but I tried them on at home and they fit. |

When I order a premium lager and it’s brought to my table in an inferior glass.
I paid premium price for a premium lager and I want it served in a branded glass designed to maximise my drinking experience.
