Try that well known High Street shop, you know the one starting with the letters M and S.
Try their Meal for Two for £10 range; all simple to cook and wine thrown in too. I've used this before, I'm not an ideal cook, but it hit the spot with the lady I was entertaining.
Then I'd more time to "entertain" later too! |

I'd suggest something that doesnt lie to heavily in the stomach. Maybe a chicken breast stuffed with a little blue-cheese, wrapped in bacon and griddled. Served with a few new potatoes, broccoli, mange tout and chantonnay carrots. For desert, keep it light and simple, maybe a couple of merangue cases filled with berries and whipped cream.
Sorry for the sensible answer, I dont know what came over me |

Awww thanks guys x was thinking of a good rib eye with boiled pots and mushrooms but lasagne sounds good too and the wrapped chicken
Think I may have to check on his like of coffee as tirimisu could be good and fun too x otherwise fresh fruit and the whipped cream might be the way to go x
Mmmmm I am hungry now x |

Half some baby potatoes drizzle with olive oil and peeled shallots and put in a 180 degree oven for 10 mins. Add two salmon fillets seasoned with lemon pepper and baby tomatoes and cook for another ten minues. All in one tray and minimal cooking time, serve with wedges of lemon.
Strawberries and cream for afters |

Slow roasting leg of lamb in red wine and garlic, [ cos it cooks itself while you are ahem busy ] and a lemon posset for dessert[ cos you can make it earlier in the day ] or even the day before leaving you FREE to have fun..ta da !! |
