I think I'd struggle to separate my emotions to be honest. I think I'd feel like I was just waiting for them to find someone better and that would probably hit my confidence hard. I think you have to have a certain amount of confidence to be able to do the whole FWB thing  |

I thought I wouldn’t mind one. But in my experience they tend to end up to be just the same as those super low commitment relationships that end up being a waste of time and leave one feeling dissatisfied emotionally.
And I’m more of an all or nothing kind of gal.

I like the idea of someone who I can hang out with, watch films with, etc, who I also enjoy having sex with. I've had a few down the years who met that criteria but it's difficult to keep those kind of arrangements going because it's a weird amount of effort and involvement to maintain with someone, plus they might meet someone to be a in a relationship with. |

Not just women had a fwb couple years ago was fine for few months we met once a week had picnics on beach etc then back to his for fun ! Then I got him saying I dont c enough of u at time was in a busy job family 2 dogs etc so time was precious then I got hypothetcal speaking what if we was to marry!!!  that was it and I said u knew the score from start he said he thought I'd change my mind! You're not involved with them all the time - and all you need to be is honest.
If one of you wants a relationship then it could be complicated- but if you both want the same thing then it's perfect.

I have recently met somebody on here who I would consider to be a FWB. I am married and yes my wife knows as do I about her meets. For me this arrangement is more about friendship than just sex. I enjoy the social side as much as the opportunity to experiment sexually too. I do think as has been mentioned above, holidaying may be a bit too far for me as I am married and my wife will always come first. If both parties were single then really anything goes. FWB can mean different things to different people and I think its something you just have to keep on discussing. Make it something that you are both happy with what you get out of it. |
