Learnt a new word the other day - Lumbersexual:
'Young and middle-aged male urbanites whose sartorial choices are characterized by thick and well-groomed beards, styled haircuts, and clothing that tends towards the rugged.'

"Why is this a sexual thing? It sounds like it's just a style of dressing. We didn't have mod-sexual and rocker-sexual, or punk-sexual, or new romantic-sexual. It doesn't make sense to me. "
It's a variant of 'metrosexual' - used to describe the shifting of 'masculine norms'. |

How is looking like a lumberjack not masculine?
Also why is a guy taking pride in their appearance not masculine? Look back in history and most men would take pride in their appearance. Bryl cream their hair, wear nice suits, male sure they smelled nice. |

Apparently many of those luxuriant beards have been augmented by some oil stuff. Thing. And the beard equivalent of backcombing. |
