No! We’ve all been there. Worst thing to do is think well I’ve blown it now I may as well eat everything in the house. Have you done that yet? That’s what I do. Don’t do it!!! Forget it and start again tomorrow x |

So I started with 3 crackers, a (small) bag of crisps and a kit kat and then the "fuck it" moment came and I had two slices of buttered toast, an apple and now there's a tupperware of pineapple chunks staring at me but I'm trying to fight it x I'm not even hungry ffs |

I'm veggie. I have cheese and olives. But I'm not even hungry, that's the annoying thing. Just d*unk and letting my inner saboteur out... |

You’re NOT A FAILURE! Not in any way shape or form.
If you had a good night, had fun and spent time with friends during a time when those things are so precious, then trust me, you’ll look back at this good memory smiling. You’ll totally forget that you binged on snacks, because in the grand scheme of things that means nothing in comparison to the happiness of a good night.
Tomorrow you can get back on the horse and kick the butt out of your diet like the badass, gorgeous woman you are! But never consider yourself a failure for taking joy in life!! You’re doing great xxx |

I have drawn a line under last week, I have been really good since beginning of June and was 1lb away from losing 2 stone. Ate out 4 times last week as away from home so I knew that when I went on the scales yesterday it wouldn't be a loss.
Don't feel bad or dwell we have all been there

It's not failure. Just get back on the diet the next day..
I too am on a diet and after my older daughter went home after staying with me I ate all the snacks I had bought in case we went on a picnic. 5 packets of crisps, a box of Jaffa cakes and 2 bags of fudge I bought, all in the space of an hour. I gained 2 pound but it was gone the following week.

You didn't cheat. You just ate a different variety of food last night.
You are not a failure. You just had a different kind of day with friends.
You are on a journey and stopped at the garage for a refuel so you can get back on the road today.
Enjoy the scenery while you travel xx |

If you were drinking alcohol you were possibly already out of ketosis. Alcohol and ketosis don't mix.
It will only take a couple of days to get back into it. It's not a failure. |

Keep things in perspective. You over munched. You didn't kill anyone.
Draw a line under yesterday, today is a fresh start. And at the risk of sounding completely cringey and patronising, love your wee bod....it's the only one you'll ever have x |

Yeah... I did my research before I made the decision to drink and the consensus seems to be that it pauses ketosis but doesn't throw you out, as in when your body has finished metabolising the alcohol it gets right back into ketosis. Think the toast probably did it though |

One binge won't harm you
Just get below 1,500kcal today and tomorrow and go for a walk outside.
Alcohol brings on the munchies.
You're a beautiful woman...be yourself.
(Ps...lost a stone in 5 weeks...but had a steak n wine binge halfway through....no harm done) |

How shit do you feel now? Really sick and hungover?
How do you feel when you're in ketosis? Full of energy? Happy seeing the scales move downwards?
Harness these feelings the next time the carbs try and entice you to be naughty. x |

Yeah feel sick as a dog
I feel amazing when I'm in ketosis! Wish I could go back and tell d*unk me it's not worth the three days it's gonna take to get back into it haha. I may just try and fast today to speed up the process. |

"Do get on the scales today. Maybe a 1 or 2lb gain. It's not a true gain but you need to see it. It's not the end. Scales weight fluctuates."
I've gained 0.7kg but that was after downing a couple of glasses of water. Last time I cheated on keto though I ended up steadily gaining water weight for the few days after, took me 6 days to get back to pre-cheat day weight |

When I'm strict dieting to get race ready, I avoid all alcohol anyway. Apart from it being directly related to shoving anything sweet and fatty into my mouth like I haven’t eaten in a month, it also reduces your metabolism for several days, so makes exercise harder.
If you know alcohol is a trigger avoid it. Seek out alcohol free options if you still want to avoid the inevitable 'why aren't you drinking' questions. |

That's 1.5lb in old money, good guess me.
Think how good you will feel in 6 days when you've lost a bit more.
I've been off the wagon for weeks and feel shit. You've motivated and inspired me again. I'm going to fast with you today.

You're not failing! It's one bad day and one bad day honestly doesn't effect your weight as much as you think.
Also, if you're anything like me and beat yourself up about it, you'll end up reaching for food to make yourself feel better because you're upset. So, forgive yourself and make today a good day! |
