When it says that does it mean the person has blocked you? .. just wondering.. thanks

Not necessary, it means their profile is hidden, but they could have blocked you too, but you won’t know until they’ve unhidden their profile.

No it means the person has just hid their profile from public view.

Im curious, if your profile is hidden then how is it possible that someone youve never spoken to before is able to message you?

It means ‘ask me why I was hiding’ when they unhide their profile
