Anyone seen it on Netflix? A remarkable story about a man who develops trust and connections with an octopus, providing a journey of change in his life.

What impact on your life have animals had?

Is the impact they've had, less room in your house?

I need to see this! Octopus is my favourite sea creature! Watched a video of a Scuba Diver who befriended one she named Egbert, it was beautiful to watch.

As for animals I have always been a dog person, my dog has remained a consistent quiet force throughout the tough times, he understands if I feel ill or low and will stay close, he truly is my best friend

Well I realise some may find it a rather odd subject, but it amazed me how intelligent they are, and how wonderful it is to see a connection between two totally incomparable species!

Pooch changed my life completely and for the better .

His compassion and kindness . His love of the outdoors . His gentleness with ever person and creature he met .

He taught me so much , he was the best companion a chap could know .

One day we will be reunited and cross the rainbow bridge together

My two dogs...still catch my breath thinking about them. A brave and loyal collie cross and a crazy and beyond loving spaniel. The loss I felt when they died changed me. The most painful grief, yet it was the purest emotion...no brain involvement at all...just raw physical heartbreak. I still see being able to feel like that as a blessing.

My dog has saved my life.

Horses were my career for many years and I foster for an animal charity. To me, they are essential for my wellbeing x

They're fascinating creatures. I love how they can change colour, and the even weirder feat of changing shape.

And they also have the ability to kill themselves by deploying a spike in their brain
