I understand that this is primarily a sex site but I think it's just has important to make friends and have a chat and a laugh but it seems too serious on here at the moment maybe I am on the wrong site lol |

Seems to me there are a lot of friendly folk on here that have formed quite a decent little community for themselves, i think the nature of the site and the types it draws make those little groups that exist, difficult? to break in to which is understandable but even as an outsider I'd everyone(with the odd expected exception) is far from unfriendly. |

I've been lucky to have met some really great people on here. Some of whom have definitely become close friends.
Never take the F part of FWB for granted. |

"I wouldn’t class anyone I only chat to online as a friend.
I’d have to meet them in person before I’d even contemplate calling them a friend."
I think the majority probably have at a point though x |

Loneliness is a big problem, especially with the virus and social distancing to, making people isolated and alone particularly for the elderly who are alone. Just when it was looking better they introduced the six people meet limit, so it will continue to be a problem for many. |

I think you can definitely have an online friendship.
You could really click with someone and they live miles away. It may not be easy to meet. Doesn’t mean a virtual friendship isn’t formed. |

There and to the left a bit |
The last thing I expected when I signed up was to make friends, not in the traditional sense anyway, and yet I've made plenty some who are purely platonic and never will be anything else, but when that friendship crosses over into something more it makes the something more so much more - but those friendships which have grown over a period of time are just as real and meaningful as any real life friendships I may have, more so in some cases.
I do think though there's a very temporary nature to *some* friendships made on here - where the friendship only lasts as long as it takes for the next "friend" to come along |
