Both Robert Zemeckis and Bob Gale have stated they have written lines in their contract that BTTF cannot be rebooted or remade, even after their deaths.

The Big Trouble in Little China is apparently getting the Jumanji treatment (in two ways) a pseudo sequel / reboot and starring the Rock.

The Fly was quite good

Dredd was certainly better than Sly Stallone Judge Dredd
