You know some days you feel a mood in the forums?

Sometimes everyone seems chill and we're all being supportive and lovely to each other. And other times it seems every thread is a heated debate and people seem to have their heads up their arse.

Do you think that some days there is a general mood here?

Or do you think it depends on which threads you get involved in?

Do you find your mood affected by it?

Just curious

Lu

There and to the left a bit

I don't think there's a general "mood" as such, but do think sometimes a particular "type" of thread can result in several threads on the same lines and that in itself may lead to a particular perception.

Yes I think I can pick a vibe up from the forum as a whole. Sometimes it feels flirty and fun and others times grumpy and down - with shades inbetween.

Generally the forum affects my mood by perking me up and putting me in a good mood - occasionally I can feel myself getting a bit too 'high' from it. Every now and again it'll put me in a fug but I've probably started off in a low state anyway.

La la land

Not a forum mood as such. But if I'm being a moody cow, it kinda becomes apparent

Yesterday wasn't. I laughed a lot yesterday. Today is one of those....

Am I speaking a foreign cunting language that hasn't been discovered?

Am I really that unable to put my thoughts into a context that others can understand?

Is my phone playing tricks and not relaying the words that I write?

Or are other people really walking that narrow alley with zero lights on so they're unable to see and hear?

Nope, I think it depends on the threads. I've had days I've spent having lots of fun and laughs yet seen posts about negativity and nastiness. Other times it's felt like everyone else is having fun yet I feel sad and on the outside from it all like a sad loner being all grumpy in a room next to a party . Or I seem to encounter the one snarky person around that day.

My mood affects the way I contribute. Sometimes I know it's a good idea to step away . My mood isn't affected by what I read on here but I do go and in equal measure

But yeah, I do feel like it's just a bit shit here lately. I could change that myself I guess and I will at some point soon when I'm less busy with work. As far as thread topics from other folks is concerned, I don't have much to add in response to most of them lately, a lot just seem narrow minded and designed to spark confrontation or clicks and numbers, and that they do pretty well I guess!

This for me too. I’ve become better at walking away from the site when I feel like this and then logging back on when I feel more chipper.
