I'm a self confessed lover of the country and avoiding cities in general, other than the occasional trip.
I'm heading to London on business in a few weeks , right from the opposite side of the country, passing all these cities and towns.
Now normally, I'd be staring at whos near and fighting off messages from local matches but with this pandemic its going to be rather odd.
So sugestions please as to what a Fab country bumpkin should do to amuse themselves in the city.
Ps I'm not travelling by horse or wearing green wellies. |

"London is a big place, which part?
EC2A , I'm used to navigation by keeping the sea on the left."
On the east side of London you have the Tower of London, Tower Bridge, HMS Belfast and the Monument which spring to mind. It depends what you enjoy really.
I would certainly recommend a wander around Covent Garden if you haven't been before. Very close to it if you want a swanky restaurant then go to Rules in Maiden Lane. It's the oldest restaurant in London and the food is scrummy. |

Thanks. Oldest restaurant in London sounds a good claim to fame for me! |

I'd rather have drank the fluid drained from the cows analysis glands than that again! |
