Why are you talking about women as a collective unit, you’ve only got to look at the quiche thread to realise how different they are, i know quiche is a very emotive topic and can polarise people but the variety in opinion on a simple savoury snack will show that whatever your sex we are all individuals with very different hopes and dreams.  |

We are all individuals, and all unique...
There is quite a well known book "Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus" and twenty years ago I took the time to read it. I wouldn't subscribe to everything in it, but there are some really great pointers that can help understand your partner, which I'm sure would be beneficial regardless of gender.
There is also a genetic difference between men and women. Nature has given us different roles. Genrally, while we understand those roles, we less well equipped to understand the motivations behind each others roles.

I am a firm believer in NO means NO and STOP means STOP. I think everyone should. So, when a woman says no to me I accept it, and don't try to change her mind. If she actually means yes, then she's going to miss out!

I'm pretty straight forward in general.
I'd say my only frustrating trait may be that I take a few days to rationalise things away to myself in my head, and in that time I can be a little cold. Once ive figured it out I'll explain all. And It's 50/50 wether I tell you that that is what's happening or not. Simples |

It really isn't a trick question.
Depending on how well you know a woman you will know the subtext of that question and the best way to answer.
It could be that she's asking if an outfit is less flattering than it could be.
It could be that she's feeling a bit less confident than normal and is asking because she needs reassurance.
If you know a woman well you will know how to answer.
Just like women know that an irritable guy who pushes you away is sometimes actually asking to be loved and reassured.
Humans are complicated but by getting to know each other rather than assuming we're all a mystery to each other as get to understand. |

Yeah talking in riddles and guessing games is exhausting. We can all be guilty of not effectively communicating, often simply by just not communicating about an issue at all, especially with people we don't know very well yet but why make that even harder by actually saying the opposite of what you mean and want when you do? |

It’s a simple case of knowing how to listen, I’m no expert but just because it goes in your ear doesn’t mean you heard it. It’s especially difficult with text/chat/messaging as you can’t read body language/reaction/subtlety that you can face to face. |
