I have seen a lot of profiles with this on and thought it would be fun doing, but does anyone use this to find out if they are a match with people on here?

They're good indicators into the type of person you are as an individual, but not particularly useful for finding a match as they're very generic and high level.
It might tell me I'm a submissive and she's a Domme, but it doesn't tell you what kind of submissive/Dominant or shared interests, or attraction or any of the other myriad of things that you find through communication and interaction |

I find the usual BDSM test pretty pointless to be honest. I much prefer the checklists that detail likes, limits and experiences so you get a better feel for what someone likes instead of being fed a list of labels. |

No if it's on a profile I skip it (or use it as a filter). Really can't be bothered with taking it. I generally know what I do and don't like and what I would or wouldn't do. |

Yep those ones are much better for not only assessing likely compatibility but also learning about yourself - a few times I've done them and thought "Ooh never thought of that" |

Like others, I can't be bothered to read them on profiles.
I have tried them for fun, but find that the questions are too basic and often don't have the right possible responses for me!
Also they are easy to manipulate with just a few slight changes of my answers! |

I think those tests are only really reinforcing what people already know. It's a bit like answering a series of questions to determine your favourite foods. You already know but it's nice to have it in writing |
