cause I just got blocked for doing it, the guys status was very negative about messaging over 60+ profiles and getting nothing back, his profile was very negative too, just mentioned he may want to add more positives to it so he's more appealing, got a very sarcastic message back then blocked, honestly you try to help some one |

"Did he ASK you for help Mally ?"
no but his gripe was at the top of my update list, cant say what it was on here but it did make me look at his profile to which he got the very wrong assumption that I wanted to meet him? Dunno how he came to that to be honest. |

You can't give unsolicited advice then moan when someone doesn't say thanks for it!
Now had he asked for your advice THEN blocked you..... actually..... would that have really mattered either? In the grand scheme of things? |

Sorry Mally, I'm in 100% agreement with him.
My profile is designed to suit ME! I get annoyed at random messages from people telling ME that I'd have more joy if I met bi men, I accommodate, this is NSA therefore what difference should it make if they're married etc.
If someone asks for profile critique: fair dos, if unsolicited: I deem is response appropriate. |

If someone asks for advice openly, and I am in the position to give it, then I would.
Whether the person takes up the advice or not is entirely up to him/her.

I'm sure the advice was well intentioned, however I'm with this way of thinking, why make it easier for them and harder for others yourself included..

Maybe he blocked because he perceived you as someone who isn't discreet and would shout from the hilltops the content of your conversations!
Sometimes its good to realise you don't try and give advice when its not asked for...only a thought. |
